Easter Fun

If you asked Abagail what she wanted the Easter Bunny to bring here, she would get a big smile on her face and rattle off her hundred acre friends names. She was so excited to see that the Easter Bunny honored her wish.

Dayton wasn't to sure about this holiday and why he needed to find his surprises in order to play. Once we guided him to his basket, he was happy to see a ball and new nipples for his bottles.
After going to church, we were able to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Elwood who hid eggs all over their yard.
Dayton went for all the eggs except his family color. Dayton didn't understand that his family eggs were pink. Daddy and Dayton were wondering why mom forgot that there is now a little boy in the family and blue or green would have been a more manly color.
Abagail our big candy eater was excited to know that if she hurried and found eggs she would be able to eat what was inside.

We had a fun Easter. We loved watching the kids faces as they found their baskets and eggs... We also enjoyed hearing Ellie's description of the "real" meaning of Easter and were proud to know that she knew the holiday was not only about baskets and candy but really about the Lord's sacrafices...
We are also happy to know that we have a new family member who was born safely the other day. The "krazy elwood kids" have a baby boy cousin. We just wanted to say, "Congratulations" to Adam, Michelle, and Brig.
The next time I write, I will be able to tell you about our trip to sunny Flordia. Once again I ask for luck as Aaron and I take four small children on an airplane across the United States. This is when I hope my crazy kids will not be so crazy but well behaved. (My fingers are crossed.)

Grandma Wendy comes to town

Grandma Wendy has been in Kuwait
almost one year. She is here for a short visit before she returns to Kuwait for another year.

Grandma says that the things she is most excited to see in Utah (besides family, friends and her cats) is the mountains, rocks, and weather changes. From what she says, Kuwait is mostly sand, sand, and more sand.

The kids were very excited to see Grandma

and the surprises that Grandma brought from Kuwait.

We are very happy she is home for a short while and will enjoy the time we have with her.

Spring time!!

As I type this I have Ellie coloring, Savannah playing a piano, (making it hard to concentrate) Abbie climbing on boxes in my office, and Dayton trying to keep up with her.

Utah is finally warming up...

Many of you know that Aaron and I recently bought a house. One of the great things about this house is that it has a nice sized yard. This is a new experience for our kids who have never had a yard to play in unless they were at their grandparents. Aaron and I decided that we should buy and build a swing set for the kids so that they had something to play on, outside. We figured that this wouldn't be to hard to accomplish and thought we could do it in a day. Well, 12 hours later...

See pictures above. (Someone will have to teach me how to place my pictures were I want them. They would have been much cuter here!)
It's been about two weeks since we started our project. The kids and I are patiently waiting for Aaron's next day off so that we can finish our swing set. Until then we have fun watching Dayton stand on his head.
I hope all is well with everybody. Have a very Happy Easter Holiday.

Wish me Luck....

Over the last couple of months, I have checked Adam and Kristin's family blogs at least once a week. Although there may not be a new blog posted, it's fun to show my "krazykids" the pictures. Finally I have decided to start a blog page hoping that people will also find an interest in what my family is up to.

Now, I don't know how well I will do at this. Usually all my computer is used for is typing school papers and searching the Internet. Jonathan laughs at me when he's trying to troubleshoot computer problems and I don't know what the heck he is talking about. It may take awhile for me to figure out how to post pictures and things like that....We will see. Wish me luck.
