Back from the World of a Million Dreams

Well...we made it back in one piece and overall we had a great time. We all enjoyed Disney World and loved seeing the kids excitement as they rode rides and saw new things.

Dayton chose our trip to cut 4 new teeth. So he had a hard time physically and emotionally. You could tell that he was in a lot of pain and was not very happy. Not only that but after two days in Florida, he took a spill on the the sidewalk and banged up his face. Dayton grew a lot on this trip. He now claps his hands with excitement (which is fun to watch) and he points when he sees something he likes. We also were able to teach him some signs on this trip which makes it easier to understand what he wants. I believe his favorite part of the trip was seeing the characters at Crystal Palace which is where we had a lunch. Tigger came by to spend some extra time with Dayton. Dayton thought Tigger's nose was extra interesting.

Abagail had a lot of fun on the kiddie rides and going to Play house Disney. She loved seeing the characters at the lunch. I think you all know from her Easter pictures that she loves Winnie-the-Pooh. Her next favorite thing is Cars. So when she saw that she was going to Radiator Springs to see Mater she lit with excitement. Her final favorite thing is Minnie Mouse which she was able to see at Play House Disney. So with that being said, I'm sure she would say this trip was successful!

Savannah was happy to know that she was tall enough to go on the "big kid" rides. At every "big kid ride" she ran up to be measured and would proudly exclaim, "I'm tall enough!!!" She loved the thrill rides like Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad, and Mount Everest. And we are thankful for the lessons Jonathan taught her.... (yeah right) like it's ok to swing on the upper hand rails while a bus is in motion.

Elizabeth had a fun time. When I asked her what her favorite part of the trip was she said buying her Minnie, which she collects on our trips to the Disney parks, and spending time with Jonathan, Kimberly, Grandma Wendy, and of course her family. She loved the rides but she also takes after her mother and loves spending time with family. She made sure that the younger kids were with us at all times.

The adults.....we had a good time. You'll have to read Jonathan and Kimberly's blog to find out how much fun they had traveling with "the KrazyElwoodKids." But I'm sure they'll agree that it went better than expected.

I had a great time and had alot of fun. The park was awsome but the plane was bad. So I will leave with the most important lesson I learned on this trip and that is don't take four small children on a plane, even if there is 5 adults to help.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.
